Chat Watch 4.4.8 has been tested to log the following
instant messengers on Windows Vista:
- AOL Instant Messenger 5.9.6089
- ICQ 5.10 Build 3000
- Windows Live Messenger 8.1.0068
- Yahoo! Messenger 8.0.0.683
Chat Watch 4.4.8 may NOT log the following instant messengers on
Windows Vista:
Features in Chat Watch 4.4.8 that do NOT function on Windows
Vista:
- User Exclusions (selecting users in Chat Watch's settings to never
log)
- Chat Scheduling
- Open to disable access to the Windows Task manager
Notes
- Changing the "Run Chat Watch at Windows start up" option requires
Administrator privileges. To change this option on Windows Vista,
right-click the cw4.exe file and click Run as Administrator. You
can then change the option in Chat Watch's settings.
These issues may or may not be resolved in Chat Watch 4. Chat Watch 5
will provide complete compatibility with Windows Vista.
